Halliday Announces the Launch of Her New Equestrian Facility
Dual sportswoman Liz Halliday has launched her new equestrian training program at a brand new yard in East Sussex already dubbed one of the finest in the South East of England.
Halliday, who combines her professional careers as a racing driver and 3 day eventer, has successfully added coaching and training in both sports to her resume throughout the years. This season she has successfully competed on a number of her clients’ horses, achieving a string of fine results including numerous victories.
Now the California-born, British-based Halliday is working from a new 165-acre facility in Chelwood Gate, East Sussex, which boasts all of the facilities necessary to take horses and riders to the top levels of international 3 day eventing.
Liz's facilities at Chelwood Equestrian Training Centre includes a 12-stable American-style barn with a solarium and hot and cold horse wash down, lighted indoor school, huge outdoor school with a full set of show jumps, full size Cross Country Course and a six horse walker as well as numerous turnout and hacking facilities.
“People who have seen the facility have already said it is one of the best in this part of the country,” said Halliday, who ended her 2009 season with a recent victory at the Tweseldown horse trials. “I’m renting the 12 stable yard and I have access to all of the amazing facilities that the site has to offer, which is really exciting!
“I’ve expanded the training side of my career a lot this year and I’ve really enjoyed it. I’ve worked with several young, inexperienced horses on behalf of their owners, and it has been fantastic to watch them progress through the levels.
“This new facility means I can expand in all areas of training and instruction, and it will only get bigger and better as the rest of the property is completed! Chelwood Equestrian Training Centre has an exciting future, and I’m currently looking for more owners who want to join my team and place their horses with me for the 2010 season. I am also offering instruction in dressage and jumping at all levels, all year round.”
